Headed by an officer of the rank of Major General who is the Commandant of the Centre as also the President of 22 SSB.
NOTE:
The selection center is one of the most beautiful selection centers amongst the services selection board due to its architecture and design of the main building.
History of the city
Bhopal is the capital of the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh and the administrative headquarter of Bhopal District and Bhopal Division.
Bhopal is known as the Lake city.
It attracted international attention due to the tragic Bhopal disaster, when the Union Carbide plant, which manufactured pesticides, leaked deadly methyl isocyanate gas during the night of 3 December 1984. The plant was operated by Union Carbide India Limited (UCIL).
On 11 April 2005, the Indian Space Research Organisation established a Master Control Facility in Ayodhya Nagar, to control the movements of satellites.
Second city to have an All India Institute of Medical Sciences campus, the first one being in Delhi.

Upper Lake - The largest artificial lake in Asia.
Lake View - A stretch of road on the shore of the great or Upper Lake. It is a popular joint for people of all age groups, especially young. The road continues into Van Vihar National Park.
Van Vihar National Park - A zoological park with the status of a national park, it is situated south of the Upper Lake.
Taj-ul-Masjid - It is one of the largest mosques in Asia and is also used as a madrasah.
Bharat Bhawan - Bharat Bhawan is an autonomous multi-art complex and museum in Bhopal, India, established and funded by the Government of Madhya Pradesh. The architect of Bhawan is Charles Correa.
Moti Masjid - Striking 19th-century mosque with an ornate white facade offset by a pair of imposing red towers.
